Monday 11th May - walks *** – Around Felixstowe – sunny periods and chilly.

I headed out at 5.10 to catch the sunrise but did just miss but it was still a lovely morning down at The Dip where I had a quick walk along to prom before heading to Felixstowe Ferry to take a few more pics, the highlight was seeing 8 egrets and a heron on the small pond in the middle of the golf course. I was chuffed to get a pic on the lunchtime Look East on the BBC, great to see Gillian back again! Home to sort my pics out and warm up with the electric blanket.
We had a busy morning with a very nice man coming to fit our new dishwasher and we were looking after Maeva for an hour or so, I had just enough time to do my exercises! I meet Maeva at the end of the road and took her home and once again she was on fine form! I read first, played the floor is larva while listening to The Stylistics while she was eating a steady supply of biscuits, we did manage to get her to eat some apple! We then had to drop some of Mags tomato plants at a local school, returned home to say goodbye to Maeva and her mum before going to pay for the dishwasher, top service too, while we were down by the seaside we had a quick walk to the end of the prom at The Manor with loads of wild flowers in bloom, the sun had returned but the breeze was still chilly, sadly it looks like the cold weather could last all week!
I headed down to Felixstowe Dock view point to catch the sunset, scary place after dark!
